D'Fairycakes Diapercakes

If you guys have not noticed yet, there is a tab at the top of my page that says "Diapercakes".

Yes, that is where I will park all the photos of my creations and also where you will see how you can place order for such meaningful and lovely gifts.

However, it is still under construction as I do need a bit of time to edit the photos and upload them all up in a systematic way.

I hope to get it going the soonest so that I have a place to display my creations . At the moment, all the photos are parked under Facebook Page : D'Fine Yourstyle.

I'll holler when the page is ready - make sure you come back! :)

Princess Themed Diapercake

I have always wanted to do a Princess theme for my diapercakes. The idea of fairy wings, wands, tiara, fluffy lace etc is really whimsical and dreamy - perfect for that princess in everyone of us.

So, even though I am up to my neck with work , I wholeheartedly said "yes" when someone asked for a Princess-themed diapercake for this weekend!

It was such fun doing this, I tell you . Honestly, I have been rather stressed up the past few weeks and have not had enough rest. But the minute I cleared the more important work, I set down to my favourite business.

Here you go - pictures of my time and effort! :)

The back of the cake - which in my opinion, looks like another complete different cake.

I love pink so this really made my day :)

I also did another one this weekend . Customer requested for different shades of purple.

You can see more photos of my diapercakes under D'Fine Yourstyle Facebook Page or under my labels on the side bar.

Drop me an email or FB message should you have any enquiry or to place an order (self-promotion here) .

Toodles! Gonna cook lunch now!

All 3 in 1 !

There has been little time to blog or even update photos.

Hence, this post is going to be of pictures of my latest creations of diapercakes.

They are really adorable and make unique gifts. You should really consider this for any of your friends who are going to or have already given birth.

You can customise the colours to your preferences and I will try to work around your budget. I assure you , your gift will be treasured :)

First one is 'The Lil Lion'.

A very sweet one which I called "Innocence".

and last but not least a very cheerful
'Sunny Day!'

Cute, aren't they? You do not see the diapers because they are all hidden inside. Just a rough estimate - a single tier will contain about 17 diapers, two tiers will be 25 and 3 tiers about 60 diapers. And they come with all the other goodies :)

It is all very time-consuming but I really enjoy making all these. It beats marking, hands down, anytime! Hehehe....

So, drop me an email at D_Fairycakes@yahoo.com.sg or visit our Facebook page @ D'Fine Yourstyle (on my sidebar). Here, we also take orders for oreo chocopops, chocolate pralines and other chocolaty stuff for almost any occasions! Take a look , ok ?

Busy Sunday today so tata for now!

Sweetie Pie - Diapercake

I have always wanted to make a diapercake using a tutu skirt.

I just find tutu skirts very cute and girly! I wished my mum had dressed me in one when I was a little kid. But obviously not... I think during my time, only those who went for ballet classes got to enjoy such privilege!

Images are from Google

When I received an order for a diapercake for a girl, I went shopping for the ingredients almost immediately. And I was so happy to find a tutu skirt which was not only of good quality, but also reasonably-priced !

The customer only wanted a one-tier cake though...if not, I would have gone crazy piling up everything princessy and girly onto the cake!

Some of the ingredients

I know I am praising myself but I find the whole ensemble really sweet and pretty! hahhaa..... Now , we've added a nicer gift tag (which includes a picture of the cake , for memories' sake!) and a blank gift card for you to pen down your wishes.

I used to ask customers for their wishes in advance so that I can print them on the card. But some people really take a long time to decide on their wishes. I have other things to do , you know... so maybe , this is a better option ?  :)

You may have realised there is an extra watermark on the photos that says "D'Fine Yourstyle". Well, that's something my sisters-in-law and I have ventured into . I shall blog about it in detail another time.

Meanwhile, check us out on Facebook!

Diapercake - What a Gal Wants!

I love my latest diapercake!

It was actually ordered by a group of colleagues for a fellow colleague and I wanted to make sure she loves it. I am glad she did because I had absolute joy doing it up - finished it all within 2 hours.

I call it "What a Gal Wants" because... well, the name speaks for itself :)

Pictures time!

Only some of the ingredients. I forgot and had already packed the rest into the cake.

From the back... that white cloth with fairy prints is actually a pair of boxer shorts. Cute!

Socks!

I like how everything is so girly...in my favourite colours, no less!

Packed and ready to go!

This time round, I decided to include a picture of the cake on the gift tag. At least, once the mummy dismantles the cake, she can still keep the tag for memory sake!

All the ingredients...quite a lot but they ha a bigger budget.

It is quite a lot of work ... creating the idea , shopping for the right items to fit the design, 'baking' the cake, doing the customized tags, wrapping it up ( I swear I hate this last stage! ) but it gives me a huge amount of satisfaction as I know it will definitely bring joy to the receipient. Consider this if you wanna brighten up a mother's day! :)
