I know I mentioned it before but not sure if it was on twitter or the blog.
I fell in love with this bright yellow bag when we were in KL a few weeks back and until now, I cannot stop thinking abt it .
It is crazy... I saw another orange one, a yellow PVC one .... but my thoughts keeps going back to that same bag.
And just now , husby gave me an ultimatum. I can get either the Burberry watch ($650) or that yellow bag. The ultimatum came today because he knows Reebonz has it (a slightly smaller version though) online now and I have to decide by tomorrow if I wanna get the bag at a good price.
Well, it wasn't a tough decision for me to make. The watch was more of a lustful 'want' and with that kind of price, I could easily get 4 DKNY / GUESS watches which are just as fashionable. But the bag is pure love . Hee hee...
So , yes, I just made the purchase....wee hoo hoo!
I cannot wait... Reebonz, please do not take your own sweet time ok? Must unite me with my love :P
Bendahara - A Betrayal
If you have been watching Suria or reading the Malay papers, you would have heard that there is a mega musical production that starts tonight.
Bendahara- A Betrayal is mainly produced by Sri Warisan Performing Arts. The interesting thing is that the cast is made up from people from all walks of life yet, share the same passion for dance and drama.
I am slightly excited about it because 22 of my dance students are involved in two of the scenes. Two different genres. Although they are not the main cast, it is definitely a valuable experience for them - performing for 3 shows with approx 1200 people in the audience each time. Something they may not experience again.
THe first show is tonight at eight and we have been busy with late night rehearsals the whole week. Just last night , I reached home at 12:30 am - after sending the last student off. Thank goodness we were granted permission to report to school only at nine am! At least, I had 5 hrs of sleep :P
Here is just one shot of them during rehearsal...
I'll definitely take more today and tomorrw, and hopefully, find time to post them up .
So, if you are coming for the show, see ya!

If you lose the strength to carry on....
Who says life is easy? Of course it is not.
But most of the times, it is made easier with the strong faith in our Maker.
No one understands the pain better than Him and it will be up to him to relieve me of the pain or to give me strength to bear it.
Faith , is something I hold on to dearly everyday of my life.
Bright and alive!
I wanted to bring out my new bag on our date yesterday. It is bright blue so I was cracking my brains.
After staring at the contents of my wardrobe, I decided to go for an orange and blue combo, something which I have never tried before.
With matching blue wedges, I felt so bright n alive!
I have always thought that colour blocking looks really good on some people and I have always wanted to try . Rather apprehensive initially for fear that I end up looking like a clown! But I actually liked what I wore and perhaps, it was just psychological but I felt really cheery and upbeat throughout our date.
We had to do some important shopping ( yes, very important you know.... ) so after Raffles City Shopping Centre, we walked to Marina Square for our late lunch / early dinner - it was five pm btw. We ended up at Manhattan Fish Market.
I would always order their Gummybear drink , and nephew loves it as well. A lil fizzy, fruit punchy but with jelly at the bottom of the drink . When you stir , you get a sweeter taste.
We were slightly disappointed with the main dish but we forgive them ... we have had many wonderful meals at Manhattan.
Now it is back to work - school is reopening tomorrow!

New Competitor!
Well, it is pretty obvious that I am obsessed with my dearest nephew , Mustaqim.
I have been obsessed with him ever since he was born and the love just gets stronger :)
BUT, he has a competitor now. There is someone else out there whom I love to giggle and talk nonsense with ... and will look forward to see every week.
And it is none other than......
OMG. She is super cute lah ... She is husband's niece and after my darling nephew, this one gets the next highest mark :)
She is now at the stage where she is trying to talk and everything that comes out from her mouth is oh-so-cute! She loves to dance and sing and during our recent niece-auntie bonding session, she diligently watched me put on my make-up and waited eagerly for her turn .
Really mentel , I tell you! She was quite an expert with the compact powder and was all ready to attack my blusher , brush already in hand. But I stopped her soon after . One, her parents will probably kill me for exposing her to such things at such a young age...two, MAC and Bobbi Brown are expensive! I love her but not to the extent of letting her destroy my make-up items. Hee hee....
We hope that she will be as smart as my dearest Montel. She is showing positive signs :)
